Requesting Additional Tests

In exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the laboratory, further tests can be added to existing requests. They cannot normally be added more than 2 days after receipt of the original specimen.

Fasting For Tests

The laboratory recommends a fasting interval of 10 – 14 hrs when fasting status is required for a test
