GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The Infection Prevention and Control Team is available for advice on all aspects of infection prevention and control 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • The Duty Consultant Microbiologist can be contacted by radiopager (via Frimley Park Switchboard) and during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm) the Infection Prevention and Control Nurses can be contacted on Bleep 551 
  • Out of office hours, please contact the On-Call Consultant Medical Microbiologist via the FPH switchboard on 01276 604604

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The Infection Control Team is available for advice on all aspects of infection prevention and control between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday.
  • During working hours please contact Ext 4580 in the first instance for the Infection Control Nurse or Ext 4480 for the Infection Control Doctor.
  • For out of hours enquiries, please contact the on-call Medical Microbiologist Consultant via the RSCH switchboard on 01483 571122.

INFECTION CONTROL POLICIES

  • The Infection Control policies are available on the Trust intranet (TrustNet) in the policies page or the Infection Control department page. They are also available in the Infection Control Manual which is present on wards and clinical areas.
